Enter Wellington Lodge through the impressive front doors, and be immediately greeted with a grand hall. Here, we have kept as much Victorian charm as possible during refurbishment. Walk on original Victorian tiling, and make use of a sweeping staircase straight from a fairytale. Additionally, Wellington Lodge boasts a range of interior amenities, listed below.
On the ground floor, enjoy a spacious living room, made complete with a quaint wood-burning fire and the more modern Smart TV. Attached to the living room is a fully functional kitchen and dining space, decorated with a large bay window that illuminates the room! In the kitchen, you will find the following:
From the kitchen, there are beautiful French doors leading to your enclosed garden and patio, which is where you will find a private hot tub!
There is one bedroom on the ground floor, with a zip-and-link king size bed. This bed can become 2ft 6in twin beds upon request. There is also an ensuite, with walk-in shower and toilet.
Entering the first floor, you will be greeted by a lovely sitting room, beautifully lit and furnished with a second Smart TV! There are seven bedrooms spread out across the first floor and the upper two floors, which we will describe below:

In Wellington Lodge, you will also find the usual amenities such as gas central heating and electricity. We also supply bed linens, towels and superfast Wi-Fi.
There will be initial fuel for the wood-burner also included, as well as a travel cot, highchair and handy welcome pack!
Outdoors, there is an enclosed back garden with garden furniture and functioning BBQ! The private hot tub fits 6 guests, and there is a bike store for our avid cyclists. Private parking will be available for up to four cars, and we have a strict no smoking rule.
Be aware that there are two steps to the rear of the property, so you don’t slip!
